About us:

We are a friendly, local group of 20 volunteers who support approximately 40 clients. Most of our work is driving clients to medical appointments at local hospitals, GP surgeries and dentists as well as giving lifts to hairdressers and local shops.

Volunteers give their time for free but can claim a mileage allowance. The type, time and amount of help you give is up to you. Our clients usually give a small donation for the help they receive.

We need volunteer drivers and duty officers to answer Helpline calls in their own home on weekdays between 10.00-12.00noon.
